This book presents the diversity of agroforestry systems practiced across different ecological regions of Vietnam to improve livelihoods, conserve soil, reduce erosion, and strengthen climate resilience. The publication compiles information from the SCAF database, ICRAF projects, and related research conducted with national partners. It describes agroforestry models integrating timber trees, fruit trees, industrial crops, annual crops, and livestock systems. The document also highlights ecological and economic benefits, including carbon sequestration, biodiversity conservation, sustainable land management, and food security. Through practical examples and illustrations, the book promotes wider adoption of agroforestry for sustainable rural development in Vietnam.
