The Journey of Acacia Trees: Driving Change

Acacia is a familiar tree species that not only provides raw materials for paper production and furniture manufacturing but also serves as a source of livelihood for millions of people in Vietnam. By encouraging small forest owners to extend their rotation cycles and supporting them in obtaining certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), WWF and IKEA have helped local people increase their income while improving the environment and strengthening resilience to climate change.
