The SAFEGROW project has promoted the transformation of Vietnam’s food safety management system toward a modern, risk-based approach through three mutually reinforcing components, ranging from policy frameworks to value chain practices and consumer awareness. Key achievements include supporting the review and revision of the Food Safety Law, strengthening the capacity of thousands of officials, digitalizing traceability systems in agricultural supply chains, and standardizing training programs according to international standards. This document also summarizes lessons learned and practical implementation models, serving as a guiding handbook for scaling up and maintaining sustainability in agricultural and food quality management in Vietnam.
