Vietnam’s agricultural sector is crucial to its economy and food security, but it faces sustainability challenges, including resource depletion, pollution, and climate impacts. Circular agriculture, which minimizes waste and maximizes resource efficiency, offers a path to sustainable agricultural transformation. Eco-innovations which include technologies and practices that support circular principles by reusing resources, reducing waste, and regenerating ecosystems are key to achieving this. This chapter explores eco-innovations in Vietnam’s agricultural landscape, including rice-fish farming, biogas production, composting, precision farming, and aquaponics. The benefits of these innovations span environmental, economic, and social dimensions, but challenges such as limited access to technology and knowledge gaps hinder their widespread adoption. The paper concludes with recommendations to support Vietnam’s transition to circular agriculture through eco-innovations.
