This document details the successful climate adaptation journey of Mr. Chen Lyna, a smallholder family farmer from Svay Rieng province, Cambodia. Shifting away from traditional, unguided farming methods, his family joined the CHEK Agricultural Cooperative under the CFAP-Cambodia network. Through technical training in diversification and the implementation of a protective net-house funded by the MTCP-II/AFOSP program, they mitigated severe climate shocks such as pests, heavy rains, and intense heat. Transitioning to natural compost and organic fertilizers allowed the family to secure higher crop yields, boost daily income, and achieve long-term livelihood resilience.
