This publication, jointly developed by the UN Food Systems Coordination Hub and the Joint SDG Fund, summarizes the results of the Seed Funding Track, demonstrating how early-stage investments helped 12 countries move from ambitious goals to the implementation of sustainable food systems. By strengthening policy frameworks, enhancing governance mechanisms, and piloting innovative local solutions, the program established a coordinated foundation for action while reducing fragmentation among institutions. The initiative serves as a strategic stepping stone, enabling countries to build organizational capacity and mobilize larger-scale financing to expand impact and develop resilient food systems over the long term.
