This document provides a comprehensive assessment of the adverse impacts of extreme heat on global agrifood systems, including the crop, livestock, forestry, and fisheries sectors. It analyzes cumulative systemic risks such as declining crop productivity, increasing wildfires, marine heatwaves, and direct threats to the livelihoods and health of more than 1.23 billion agricultural workers.
