This document details the successful agricultural transformation of Mr. KHEAV Doeurn, a former fisherman from Kampong Thom province, Cambodia. Seeking sustainable income, he expanded his vegetable plot but faced severe pest infestations and extreme dry-season droughts due to limited technical capacity. In 2022, the Balang Sethaphy Agricultural Cooperative selected him for the PArTNER project. Armed with technical training and modern inputs—such as efficient irrigation systems, insect netting, and organic composts—Doeurn implemented resilient agroecological practices like crop rotation. These enhancements dramatically multiplied his net profit, eliminated the need to sell emergency rice reserves, and earned him a promotion to Master Farmer.
