Forest Trends is a Washington, DC-based non-profit organization established in 1998 that pioneers innovative financial mechanisms to conserve ecosystems. Our core mission is to make standing forests and natural environments economically valuable, thereby shifting global economies away from short-term resource extraction toward long-term sustainability.
