SSLA

Sustainable Soil for Life Association (SSLA) is a Cambodian non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing the rights and livelihoods of smallholder farmers, youth, women, and marginalized communities.

Emerging from the Vivre de sa Terre (VDST) initiative, a French NGO, SSLA has grown into a leading Cambodian advocate for agroecology, driving economic, social, and environmental transformations within local food systems. By promoting resilience, fairness, safety, and sustainability, SSLA helps communities transition toward more equitable and regenerative agricultural practices.

Since 2017, SSLA has supported farming communities through a farmer-centered, impact-driven approach. Its initiatives focus on diversifying crops, improving soil health, enhancing biodiversity, reducing dependence on external inputs, developing sustainable agribusinesses, and strengthening local market networks for agroecological products.
