Improving soil fertility, rice productivity and fodder resources in the lowlands rice of Cambodia: a complex trade-off

The study explores Conservation Agriculture in Cambodia’s lowland rice, showing that cover crops and no-till improve soil fertility, raise yields and provide fodder. Adoption faces challenges such as equipment access, grazing management, and the need for long-term farmer engagement. This presentation was held during the ACTAE National Multi Stakeholder Workshop “Towards an Agroecology Transition”.
