Vietnam Farmer’s Cooperation Forum
Established on July 30, 2015, the forum is an initiative of the Agriculture Alliance. It is a voluntary network of farmer organization representatives working to foster cooperation, enhance effectiveness, and protect the interests of farming households while promoting agroecology.
Principles of Operation
The forum operates based on the principles of autonomy, democracy, transparency, solidarity, and creativity.
Objective
The forum serves as a platform for exchange, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among cooperatives, cooperative groups, and their members. It also contributes to the development of policies, mechanisms, and measures that support the growth of cooperatives and agricultural cooperative groups. Additionally, the forum assists state management agencies in formulating and implementing relevant policies.
Management Board
The forum’s Management Board consists of 15 members, representing eight cooperative groups and founding organizations, including the Department of Cooperatives and Rural Development and Phano.
