ISTOM
ISTOM – Graduate School of International Agro-Development is a French engineering school under the authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI – the French Engineering Accreditation Board).
ISTOM is a Private Higher Education Institution of General Interest (EESPIG), a status granted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and evaluated by the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres).
It is also a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, AGRINATURA (a European network of research institutions), and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie.
Located in Angers, ISTOM trains its engineers for careers in environmental, agricultural, food, and energy transitions, with a highly international curriculum focused on developing and emerging countries. Its young graduates work worldwide, both in France and in countries of the Global South.
ISTOM’s accreditation to award the engineering degree was renewed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, following the positive recommendation of the CTI, for the maximum period on July 1st, 2021.
