This training book is published with the aim of increasing knowledge and understanding of land laws, as well as practically applying methods for collecting processes/events related to land issues, for civil society organizations working on land (or those interested in social research on land).
This book consists of three main parts: Part (1), from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2, presents preparation before a training course and considerations to take into account when conducting a training course. Part (2), from Chapter 3 to Chapter 5, reviews the legal frameworks directly linked to land and resource extraction and utilization, as well as the interconnections between different laws. Part (3), from Chapter 6 to Chapter 7, presents the most useful research methods when documenting a process/event.
