Although the policy framework supporting agroecological transition in the Lao People's Democratic Republic has been strengthened in recent years, the institutionalization of
agroecology faces several significant challenges. In this context, tis policy brief has three objectives. First, it aims to understand the main factors contributing to institutionalise
specific representations of agroecology and associated transition trajectories in Lao PDR. Second, he reviews public policies on agroecology in Laos. and at last, it aims at identifying the
main challenges for the institutionalisation of agroecology in the Lao PDR.
