This document approach to improving food security for poor households in villages across Siem Reap, Cambodia. The strategy consists of two phases: first, a series of three community training sessions using drama, interactive games, and visual presentations to raise awareness; second, behavior-change support activities, including household visits and practical cooking demonstrations. Local volunteers, selected from women participating in the training, are empowered to become community facilitators who provide mothers with practical guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and household budget management. This approach helps address gaps in practical nutrition knowledge while establishing a sustainable community support network to tackle the root causes of malnutrition.
