This publication is a Lao-language textbook on Organic Agriculture for undergraduate programs in agriculture and forestry. The content is comprehensively structured into 10 chapters, providing a full system of theory ranging from ecological farming principles and natural resource management (soil, water, biodiversity) to national organic certification standards and inspection procedures. In particular, the textbook includes dedicated practical sections guiding learners in field applications, such as full-cycle organic rice cultivation techniques and formulations for producing microbial fertilizers and indigenous bio-inputs to sustainably protect crops. The publication is used in the course “Developing Teaching and Learning Materials in Agroecology at University Level in the Lao PDR.”
