This document presents a nutrition education approach for schoolchildren in Siem Reap, Cambodia, aimed at fostering healthy eating habits from an early age and preventing malnutrition. The program is delivered through 90-minute interactive learning sessions that combine visual presentations using posters, role-playing activities, and educational games to teach students about energy requirements, food groups, and the importance of personal and food hygiene. A key feature of the approach is the practical integration of classroom learning with school vegetable gardens, enabling students to better understand where food comes from and the role of agricultural products in maintaining good health. The document concludes that using diverse teaching methods together with the active involvement of teachers and parents is essential for ensuring that students not only understand the lessons but also promote nutrition awareness within their families and communities.
